Art Nutter - Chairman and CEO
Art Nutter founded TAEUS Corporation in 1992 as the world’s first engineering company dedicated exclusively to intellectual property. TAEUS helps patent owners to receive optimum value for their property in the world’s market for innovation. Mr. Nutter defined the TAEUSworksTM business method for evaluating patents for licensing purposes. He has filed for a number of patents of his own.
Mr. Nutter lectures and writes on IP management, and served as trustee, High-Tech Sector chair, international delegate and on many committees for the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada), Inc (LES). He also served as LES International Communications chair.
He holds a BSME from the University of Akron (Ohio) and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Richard Dunham - President, TAEUS Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd.
Richard has served as the President of TAEUS Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. for four years, having established the Asia Pacific office in Kuala Lumpur in early 2014.
Prior to his move to Malaysia, Rick was based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he worked in international business development for both TAEUS International and a Charlotte-based private equity firm. He has traveled throughout Asia and Africa conducting intellectual property licensing, strategy, and monetization programs, as well as pursuing private equity placements in emerging markets. Having lived and worked throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Balkans, Rick brings a wealth of international contacts and overseas experience to TAEUS Asia Pacific.
Rick graduated from Dartmouth College (New Hampshire, USA) with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, where he played baseball and football. Prior to his work overseas, Rick worked for Wells Fargo Private Client Services Group as a licensed financial consultant and certified estate and trust planning officer. After earning his law degree (JD) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in finance from Wake Forest University, Rick was commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) program, serving three tours.
Sebastian Nutter - Vice President of Sales
Sebastian joined TAEUS in 2010 as a Sales Associate to help market and sell the TAEUS Global Patent Syndicate. Sebastian has extensive experience in business to business marketing, customer service, indirect and direct sales. He also worked in management in the restaurant industry and helped launch a successful local business.
Sebastian brings his drive for customer satisfaction to each client. He has spent the past six years working within the IP industry and uses his knowledge to produce the best results for his clients. He has also served his local LES Chapter.
Sebastian studied Political Science at Red Rock Community College. He also manages and plays in a nationally recognized band that has toured the United States and released two albums. Sebastian spends his spare time fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
Calista Turner - Vice President of Operations & Director of Program Management
Calista joined TAEUS in 2016 as the Director of Program Management after serving as an Active Duty Officer in the United States Army. Capitalizing on her hard-earned leadership and management experience, she has streamlined the process for delivering quality products based on the individual needs of a highly diversified client base around the world.
Calista’s eight years of military service were spent managing personnel and operations in the U.S. and abroad. Her ability to develop and lead efficient staff organizations focused on quality and timely delivery is vital to maintaining relationships with clients.
Calista holds a BA in Psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she also received her Commission in the U.S. Army. Calista developed a deep love for the outdoors growing up in Colorado and living in Alaska for nearly five years. She enjoys hiking, camping, and relaxing with her family in her free time. Calista continues to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Ryan Likness - Vice President
Ryan originally joined TAEUS Corporation in 2010 as an Inside Sales Representative. Since that time, he has worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 technology companies to achieve their Intellectual Property goals. Ryan knows that in the ever-changing IP industry the same approach rarely works twice for different organizations, and works to provide custom solutions to each client with whom he is privileged to work.
Ryan has been involved with the Licensing Executives Society since 2011, mentors and advises young entrepreneurs on innovation and IP strategy, and regularly hosts web-based thought leader sessions on topics affecting the Intellectual Property industry.
Ryan studied Mechanical Engineering at The Colorado School of Mines, holds a B.A. in Political Science and Public Law from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and is an MBA Candidate at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs College of Business. Outside of work Ryan spends his time exploring the world with his wife and two daughters.
Anastasia Nutter - Director of Marketing
Anastasia joined TAEUS Corporation in January of 2015. She started out as an executive assistant and has since then worked her way up to becoming the Director of Marketing. Anastasia strives to bring in new, contemporary ideas to market the company. With the growing popularity and demand for social media marketing in today’s world, Anastasia works to display TAEUS as the leader in the Intellectual Property Industry.
Anastasia is currently pursuing a business degree with an emphasis in finance in northern Colorado. Aside from work and school, Anastasia enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and riding her bike outdoors, and going on various adventures around the world.
Solange Nutter - Executive Assistant
Solange joined the TAEUS team in May 2017 as Arthur’s Executive Assistant. Since then, she has mastered executive scheduling, filing, and hospitality towards office visitors. Solange knows how to treat customers with the utmost respect in a very professional way.
Solange is currently studying to be a Nurse Practitioner at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. She is also training to be an officer in the United States Army through ROTC.
