Art Nutter - Chairman and CEO

Art Nutter founded TAEUS Corporation in 1992 as the world’s first engineering company dedicated exclusively to intellectual property. TAEUS helps patent owners to receive optimum value for their property in the world’s market for innovation. Mr. Nutter defined the TAEUSworksTM business method for evaluating patents for licensing purposes. He has filed for a number of patents of his own.

Mr. Nutter lectures and writes on IP management, and served as trustee, High-Tech Sector chair, international delegate and on many committees for the Licensing Executives Society (USA & Canada), Inc (LES). He also served as LES International Communications chair.

He holds a BSME from the University of Akron (Ohio) and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Tarek Elabbadi - President, TAEUS Corporation

Tarek holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  His experience in law, finance, engineering and software brings depth and breadth that guide TAEUS as it helps clients worldwide assert, defend, and monetize their intellectual property assets.

Prior to joining TAEUS, Tarek served as board-elected Chief Executive Officer of Diomics Corporation, a Delaware life sciences company headquartered in San Diego, California with a robust intellectual property portfolio.  There, he developed and managed the company’s strategic direction, including licensing negotiations, fundraising, marketing, public relations, and operations, leading to the eventual award of a multimillion-dollar federal government grant, as chronicled in the Times of San Diego newspaper.

In Washington, D.C. and Virginia, Tarek worked at some of the largest national law firms as a law clerk in both intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution with special emphasis on telecommunications, computer hardware and software, medical devices, manufacturing, and mechanical systems.

Prior to law, Tarek had a successful career in the technology space in Southern California, starting as a consultant with Unisys Corporation, providing business consulting and technology integration services to companies across the United States.  During his tenure there, Mr. Elabbadi independently co-authored a book published by SamsNet Publishing on Microsoft Visual Interdev, Microsoft's integrated development environment used to create web applications using Microsoft Active Server Pages technologies.

Subsequently to his time at Unisys, Tarek joined and then led an Internet company in Newport Beach, CA, where he successfully negotiated deals and fostered business relationships with numerous strategic clients, including the City of Newport Beach’s Chamber of Commerce, Conference and Visitor’s Bureau, and Police Department, as well as Hoag Hospital, California State Bank, and the law firm of Best Best & Krieger, LLP.

Richard Dunham - President, TAEUS South America

Rick is currently the President of TAEUS South America located in Bogota, Colombia.

Rick established the Asia Pacific office in Kuala Lumpur in early 2014. Prior to his move to Malaysia, Rick was based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he worked in international business development for both TAEUS International and a Charlotte-based private equity firm.  He has traveled throughout Asia and Africa conducting intellectual property licensing, strategy, and monetization programs, as well as pursuing private equity placements in emerging markets.  Having lived and worked throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Balkans, Rick brings a wealth of international contacts and overseas experience to TAEUS Asia Pacific.

Rick graduated from Dartmouth College (New Hampshire, USA) with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, where he played baseball and football.  Prior to his work overseas, Rick worked for Wells Fargo Private Client Services Group as a licensed financial consultant and certified estate and trust planning officer. After earning his law degree (JD) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in finance from Wake Forest University, Rick was commissioned as an Officer in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s  (JAG) program, serving three tours.

Calista Turner - Vice President of Operations & Director of Program Management

Calista joined TAEUS in 2016 as the Director of Program Management after serving as an Active Duty Officer in the United States Army.  Capitalizing on her hard-earned leadership and management experience, she has streamlined the process for delivering quality products based on the individual needs of a highly diversified client base around the world.

Calista’s ten years of military service were spent managing personnel and operations in the U.S. and abroad. Her ability to develop and lead efficient staff organizations focused on quality and timely delivery is vital to maintaining relationships with clients.

Calista holds a BA in Psychology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she also received her Commission in the U.S. Army.  Calista developed a deep love for the outdoors growing up in Colorado and living in Alaska for nearly five years.  She enjoys hiking, camping, and relaxing with her family in her free time.  Calista continues to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Solange Nutter - Executive Assistant & Inside Sales

Solange joined the TAEUS team in May 2017 as Arthur’s Executive Assistant. Since then, she has mastered executive scheduling, filing, and hospitality towards office visitors. Solange knows how to treat customers with the utmost respect in a very professional way.

Solange earned her Associates of Arts with a business focus, and is currently studying Business Management at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.
